NoNoNo Thursday Nights in Riverside, CA

I'll be painting live Thursday nights in Riverside CA during NoNoNo @ The Crescent Jewel Hosted by Riverside Style Watch.

Here are some photos from last weeks event:

It was appropriate of Lonny to hang this sign cause that's exactly what I was thinking as I walked into the bar. "I don't know what's gonna happen tonight". What I did know is I had to get set up and start painting over the drunken layers added by friends and myself during the NYE event. The blue shapes below were the beginning of another fun night.


As the night went on and the drinks went down it seems I forgot to take more progress pictures. However, I did manage to get some shots from the end of the night when I let friends from the crowd join in on the painting. Below is the first picture taken before everyone else jumped in and decided to get paint on their hands.

Downtown Riverside Arts Walk

The Riverside Arts Walk is a free monthly community event that celebrates the diversity of arts and culture in Riverside and the Inland Empire. Visit over 22 downtown locations, including museums, galleries and studios, presenting an eclectic mix of visual and performing arts. Happening the 1st Thursday of every month from 6-9pm.

I also had my art work on display during Arts Walk at The Blood Orange Info Shop which is an anti-authoritarian community center in Downtown Riverside devoted to providing a hub for people in the Inland Empire interested in culture, fun and working ardently for positive change.

SATURATION FEST IS BACK!

The Saturation organizers are now looking for participants for Saturation 2010. We are recruiting potential venues, volunteers, event curators, visual artists, handmade art vendors, and performers. Saturation is a DIY festival, but it relies on a team of volunteers that contribute their time and energy to organizing a complex, extremely-low-budget but still high-quality festival!
